Our working Mission Statement is as follows:
Not for the sake of works, but because of our faith and our desire to grow in our faith, we desire to pursue a missionary lifestyle. To us, this means using our God given skills and gifts (our knowledge in health and wellness, our desire to serve and work with children, and our passion for sustainable food security, among others) to participate in furthering His Kingdom on earth. We seek to live simply, and also in community with others who share this vision, and to join with them in actively being Christs hands and feet in this world. To us, this means not only giving resources, but entering into solidarity with those on the margins of society, to be Jesus and find Jesus among them. As we embark on this journey, we strive to keep our marriage and children at the forefront of our Kingdom work, never sacrificing our service to one another as a family, in serving others. We hope to foster in our children life-long love for Jesus, and a true authentic relationship with Him. We will seek to do this by being the primary providers for our children until they are of age, and by actively working in our daily lives to honor God through our words, actions, prayers and thoughts. We pray that through our intentional pursuit of Gods Kingdom, we will guide and love one another into Gods great adventure for our lives.
